2nd Annual Holistic Horse Fair to be Held at The Natural Gait, Harpers Ferry, IA

Fountain City, WI, January 9, 2008 -- The Holistic Horse Fair (HHF) seeks to inform horse lovers of the myriad natural and holistic horse care and handling methods that exist through a fun and exciting weekend fair.  This year’s HHF will be held May 17-18, 10am to 6pm daily at The Natural Gait near Harpers Ferry, Iowa.  Fair goers will have the unique opportunity to watch demonstrations, speak with practitioners, and shop vendors whom offer information specifically about natural, alternative and complementary methods of caring for and handling horses.

HHF creator Heather Kitching approached The Natural Gait about hosting the HHF because the facility is not only very attractive and functional, but shares many of the educational intentions that are behind the Fair’s creation.  “I was seeking a facility that would provide more than just a nice space.  I wanted to find one that would lend its own energy and spirit to the event.  The Natural Gait was my first choice and I’m thrilled the Holistic Horse Fair will call it home”, commented Kitching.

An annual event, the HHF offers horse owners information on such topics as acupuncture, massage and body work, animal communication, herbs, natural hoof care, natural nutrition, horse-friendly forms of horsemanship and training, and much, much more.  The public can use the event’s frequently updated website, www.holistichorsefair.com, to find out who’ll be appearing at the HHF and plan their trip to The Natural Gait to attend it.

The HHF weekend schedule includes: Karen Braun - Anam Cara School of Equine Massage; Dawn Johns Swenson - Equine Facilitated Therapy; Michael Gonzalez - Less is More Horsemanship; Asia Voight - Animal Communication; Todd Jaynes - Equine Sciences Academy/Natural Horse & Hoof Care; Lori Wegner - Natural Horsemanship; Pauline Peterson - "Holy Horses - Equine Spiritual Adventures"; William Humphrey - Shamanism; Tom Tweeten - Grooming: Horse Care and Comfort; Jan Schilling - Qigong Energy Balancing
