Never feed a horse without permission.
Never go into a horse's pasture, paddock or stall without permission.
Always approach a horse from the side, not from directly behind him.
Always wear a helmet when you ride.
Always wear safe shoes or boots when you ride or work around horses.
Never tie a lead rope to you or your clothing.
When walking behind a horse, touch him as you go and stay right next to him.
Always demand your space.
Never tie a horse that pulls against pressure.
Always be quiet and attentive around horses.
(Can you think of some others?)
